17.1 The Referee shall be in overall charge of the tournament or championship(s) of which a match forms part.

17.1 يكون المشرف العام (Referee) مسؤولاً بشكل كامل عن البطولة أو البطولات التي تُعد المباراة جزءًا منها.

17.2 The umpire, where appointed, shall be in charge of the match, the court and its immediate surrounds. The umpire shall report to the Referee.

17.2 يكون الحكم (Umpire)، عند تعيينه، مسؤولاً عن المباراة والملعب ومحيطه المباشر، ويرفع تقاريره إلى المشرف العام.

17.3 The service judge shall call service faults made by the server should they occur under Laws 9.1.2 to 9.1.8.

17.3 يُعلن حكم الإرسال أخطاء الإرسال التي يرتكبها المرسل إذا وقعت بموجب القوانين من 9.1.2 إلى 9.1.8.

17.4 A line judge shall indicate whether a shuttle landed "in" or "out" on the assigned line(s).

17.4 يُشير حكم الخط إلى ما إذا كانت الريشة قد سقطت "داخل" أو "خارج" الخطوط المخصصة له.

17.5 An official's decision shall be final on all points of fact for which that official is responsible.

17.5 يكون قرار المسؤول نهائيًا في جميع مسائل الواقع التي يكون مسؤولاً عنها.

17.5.1 If, in the opinion of the umpire, it is beyond reasonable doubt that a line judge has clearly made a wrong call, the umpire shall overrule the decision.

17.5.1 إذا رأى الحكم بما لا يدع مجالاً للشك أن حكم الخط قد ارتكب خطأً واضحًا في قراره، فعلى الحكم إلغاء ذلك القرار.

17.5.2 If Instant Review System is in operation, the system decides any line call challenge unless an inconsistent or obviously incorrect decision is given; the Referee then instructs the Umpire how to proceed.

17.5.2 إذا كان نظام المراجعة الفورية قيد التشغيل، يفصل النظام في أي اعتراض على قرار خط ما لم يكن القرار غير متسق أو خاطئًا بشكل واضح؛ عندئذٍ يوجّه المشرف العام الحكم حول كيفية المتابعة.

17.6.1 Uphold and enforce the Laws of Badminton and, especially, call a fault or a let should either occur.

17.6.1 يلتزم بقوانين الريشة الطائرة ويطبقها، وخاصة إعلان الخطأ أو "الإعادة" عند وقوع أي منهما.

17.6.2 Give a decision on any appeal regarding a point of dispute, if made before the next service is delivered.

17.6.2 يصدر قرارًا بشأن أي اعتراض يتعلق بنقطة خلافية، إذا قُدّم قبل تنفيذ الإرسال التالي.

17.6.3 Ensure players and spectators are kept informed of the progress of the match.

17.6.3 يضمن إبقاء اللاعبين والجمهور على اطلاع بسير المباراة.

17.6.4 Appoint or replace line judges or a service judge in consultation with the Referee.

17.6.4 يُعيّن أو يستبدل حكام الخط أو حكم الإرسال بالتشاور مع المشرف العام.

17.6.5 Where another technical official is not appointed, arrange for that official's duties to be carried out.

17.6.5 عندما لا يتم تعيين مسؤول فني آخر، يُرتّب لتنفيذ مهام ذلك المسؤول.

17.6.6 Where an appointed official is unsighted, carry out that official's duties or play a let.

17.6.6 عندما يفقد أحد المسؤولين المعيّنين الرؤية، يقوم الحكم بتنفيذ مهامه أو يُعلن "إعادة".

17.6.7 Record and report to the Referee all matters relating to Law 16.

17.6.7 يُسجّل ويُبلّغ المشرف العام بجميع الأمور المتعلقة بالقانون 16.

17.6.8 Refer to the Referee all unsatisfied appeals on questions of law only. Appeals must be made before the next service, or at the end of the match before the appealing side leaves the court.

17.6.8 يُحيل إلى المشرف العام جميع الاعتراضات غير المحسومة المتعلقة بمسائل القانون فقط. يجب تقديم الاعتراضات قبل تنفيذ الإرسال التالي، أو في نهاية المباراة قبل مغادرة الطرف المعترض الملعب.
