4.1 The racket shall be a frame not exceeding 680 mm in overall length and 230 mm in overall width, consisting of the main parts described in Laws 4.1.1 to 4.1.5.

4.1.1 The handle is the part of the racket intended to be gripped by a player.

4.1.1 المقبض هو الجزء من المضرب المخصص ليُمسك به اللاعب.

4.1.2 The stringed area is the part of the racket with which it is intended that a player hits the shuttle.

4.1.2 منطقة الأوتار هي الجزء من المضرب الذي يُقصد به أن يضرب اللاعب الريشة.

4.1.3 The head bounds the stringed area.

4.1.3 الرأس يحيط بمنطقة الأوتار.

4.1.4 The shaft connects the handle to the head.

4.1.4 الساق تصل المقبض بالرأس.

4.1.5 The throat, if present, connects the shaft to the head.

4.1.5 الحلق، إن وُجد، يصل الساق بالرأس.

4.2.1 The stringed area shall be flat and consist of crossed strings either alternately interlaced or bonded where they cross.

4.2.1 يجب أن تكون منطقة الأوتار مسطحة وتتكون من أوتار متقاطعة إما متشابكة بالتناوب أو مثبتة عند نقاط التقاطع.

4.2.2 The stringed area shall not exceed 280 mm in overall length and 220 mm in overall width.

4.2.2 لا يجوز أن يتجاوز طول منطقة الأوتار الكلي 280 ملم وعرضها الكلي 220 ملم.

4.2.2.1 If the strings extend into the throat area, the width of the extended stringed area shall not exceed 35 mm.

4.2.2.1 إذا امتدت الأوتار إلى منطقة الحلق، فلا يجوز أن يتجاوز عرض منطقة الأوتار الممتدة 35 ملم.

4.2.2.2 The overall length of the stringed area shall not then exceed 330 mm.

4.2.2.2 لا يتجاوز الطول الكلي لمنطقة الأوتار حينئذٍ 330 ملم.

4.3.1 The racket shall be free of attached objects and protrusions except those used for wear, vibration, weight distribution or securing the handle by cord, and reasonable in size and placement.

4.3.1 يجب أن يخلو المضرب من أي أجسام ملحقة أو بروزات باستثناء تلك المستخدمة للتحمل أو تقليل الاهتزاز أو توزيع الوزن أو تثبيت المقبض بحبل، بشرط أن تكون معقولة الحجم والموضع.

4.3.2 The racket shall be free of any device that makes it possible for a player to materially change the shape of the racket.

4.3.2 يجب أن يخلو المضرب من أي جهاز يمكّن اللاعب من تغيير شكل المضرب بشكل جوهري.
